Dean’s property is really unique. It has a manicured look with a lot of bright flowers planted throughout. There is plenty of camping room and open areas to play horse shoes, bocce ball, etc. There is an excellent sand volleyball court.
Camping: Onsite camping is available Friday and Saturday night. Camping area will be fogged for insects but bring insect repellent just in case. There will be newly installed bathroom and shower next to the volleyball court for campers and attendees.
Bring: Please bring a dish to pass for Saturday’s dinner. The pig will be served at about 5:00 PM. Don’t forget your lawn chairs, sunscreen, bug spray, and beverage of choice.
Provided: There will be pop, water, juice, provide along with breakfast and lunch on Saturday. Barbecued pig will be served for dinner on Saturday with beans and potato salad. Sunday morning will have breakfast too.
Activities: Volleyball, horse shoes, bocce ball, fishing at Van Etten Lake (bring your own boat), pontoon boat rides.
Schedule:
Friday Afternoon: Set stuff up for Saturday, set up camp, campfire socializing.
Saturday: Breakfast provided (eggs, sausage, bagels, rolls, juice) and lunch at noon (hot dogs, chips, pop), dinner (pig) at 5:00 PM.
Sunday: Breakfast (eggs, sausage, bagels, rolls, juice), clean up grounds, relax, head home
Cost: The cost is 20.00 per person and 30.00 per family.
